About Sportzillax — Built in a Garage, Tested on Real People
I’m Dana Cruz, and I’ve been obsessed with
training since I was nineteen.
Not the Instagram version of training — no perfect lighting, no matching sets, no gym with floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Just a squat rack in a rented garage, a set of adjustable dumbbells, and a notebook full of what worked and what absolutely didn’t.
Over the past twelve years I’ve trained through two apartment moves, one injury that kept me off my feet for six weeks, and a full-time job that left me with exactly 45 minutes a day to get it done. That constraint turned out to be the best coach I ever had.
Sportzillax started because I kept sending the same recommendations to friends who wanted to build a home gym but had no idea where to start. Every time someone asked “what dumbbells should I get?” or “is this foam roller actually worth it?” I found myself writing the same long reply. Eventually it made more sense to just build the site.
What You’ll Find Here
– Gear reviews written after actual use
— not based on spec sheets or press samples

– Strength training programs designed around limited space and real schedules
– Recovery and mobility work that fits between work calls, not just on rest days
What I Believe
Most people don’t need more motivation. They need a clear plan, the right equipment for their space, and honest information about what actually moves the needle.
That’s what Sportzillax is here to provide.
